Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Mukti (1977)
Kailash Sharma a small time worker lives with his wife and daughter Pinky. Kailash Sharma loves Pinky a lot so he always brings her gifts and teaches her piano which she likes to listen a lot. One day Kailash becomes involved in an incident when a rich man tries to rape a maid. Kailash tries to save the girl and while doing so, a bullet is fired and the son of the minister dies. Now to save the minister's image the maid becomes hostile and Kailash Sharma is sentenced to be hanged to death. But the story takes a turn, when his wife and child move out of town, imagining that Kailash has been hanged to death. They come in contact with Ratan, a small time truck driver. Pinky gets closer to Ratan and they share a father daughter relationship. In the context due to his frequent visits, they are questioned by neighbours. So they decide to get married and stay together. Years pass by and Ratan becomes a rich man and in the meanwhile Kailash Sharma is released from jail as he was not hanged and was only sentenced for 10 years. He now looks out for his wife and son, and eventually he comes in contact with Pinky and in the context, the truth is revealed about his family. then they are caught in an act when Ratan comes to know about the episode Ratan becomes furious then plots to kill kailesh meanwhile he knows about the truth and his loyalty toward Ratan he becomes emotional and moves out to try kailesh but in the context ratan dies saving kailesh and he dies.
Tragedy strikes in the happy life of Seema, in order to escape social stigma, takes her child to a distant place. Rattan, a kind hearted driver marries Seema to give the love of a father to Pinky.
