Mumbai 125 KM is just another Bollywood’s attempt to make a horror flick that does absolutely no justice to horror as a genre. The story revolves around 5 friends who leave for Mumbai in a car and start witnessing spooky things once they are just 125 km away from the city.Read full review1.0

Mumbai 125km is a must watch for those willing to attempt suicide. If Veena Malik’s skin show is all you care about, then this film is for you. On a second thought, you might even enjoy the film with your gang of besties, cracking jokes and laughing at the sad state of horror films in Indian cinema.Read full review0.5

The 3D, worthless as ever, isn’t post-converted for a change, with the use of stereoscopic cameras. This is a schoolboy error because the entire film is shot at night. The filmmakers try to overcompensate by lighting up every scene like the moon (you can literally see the source), thereby making this look like a grainy animated disaster.Read full review0.5

Bottomline – The film did scare. Not it’s story and technique, but the fact that it released.Read full reviewNR

As for the film, I left trying to figure out what it was mid-way through the first half. Just to borrow a dialogue from the film I would like to ask the director, ”What the hell is this?”Read full review

My review of Mumbai 125 KM 3D (2014) by bangreaayushi
jyothimathur, 9 years agoHaunted in no way! The film is based on suspense and thriller genre. The film has haunting background. The film is about how few friends who decide to go for a picnic and in the middle of their journey, they meet with hilarious situations. The film as Veena Malik in the lead playing a ‘buri aatma’. She is the centre of attraction in the film. The film has also highlighted more on the sexual appeal of Veena Malik. The movie had the usage of 3D effect in the film. The film is full of animated disasters I mean, every scene is done under the moon light. The performances given by the characters are not upto the expectations. The story of the movie is derived from the old horror movies and its new version is made in this film. You cannot expect more than just going with the trend of sequels. The film’s highlights are those dead bodies, which are killed by that ‘bura aatma’. It’s the main highlight of the film. The film’s music is not worth appreciating. The movie’s cinematography is only ‘thriller’ types. The dialogues written are very common. There are lines, which have been repeated many a times in many horror movies. The film should have worked on capturing the audiences. When you are watching this movie, it gives you the feelings of things flying in the air. There are many scenes in which you feel like only ‘Veena Malik’, captures your attention and only for wrong reasons. The film could have been better, but unfortunately it fails to give its best.
