Naagdevta is a 1962 Indian Bollywood musical film released on 1962. The film is directed by Shantilal Soni, music composed by S. N. Tripathi.

Madhukar's(Mahipal) life is taken by an evil magician Basman Jadugar to get trishul. Naag Devata passes a snake's soul to Madhukar's body and asks him to fast till shivratri to remove the curse of two snakes. Madhukar falls in love with Madhavi(Anjali Devi). Madhukar's mother has the snake body. The magician sends Mohini(Shashikala) to get the snake body so that Madhukar dies. Madhukar and Madhavi get married and the soul returns to the snake body. Madhavi tries to get back her husband's life but Mohini comes in between and finally dies. The magician tries to kill Madhukar and Madhavi but the trishul kills Basman and finally Madhavi gets Madhukar back. The curse of two snakes is also removed.
