Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Nagjyoti (1994)
The story is about a couple who were not having a kid. The wife (Satabadi) goes to Nagmata and cries her heart out. Nagmata is moved and grants her a child. But she promises Satabdi that in favour of this goodness she would ask something sometime in the future. The child grows up getting very attracted to snakes and Nagmata but her mother does not appreciate this since she is very scared that Nagmata might want her child back. The child likes Nagmata which is not liked by her mother. The villain wants to catch Nagmata for the “mani”. So, he cheats the child’s parents and some how gets her in his claws. Finally, Nagmata causes his destruction and saves the child. She hands her to Satabadi saying that she kept following her daughter only because she wanted to protect her.
