Nayee Padosan is a 2003 Indian Bollywood comedy film released on Jun 06, 2003. The film is directed by B. H. Tharunkumar, produced by Nikhil Panchamiya , music composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Three young handsome men, who are all of marriageable group, get their hopes up on marriage, when a charming young woman comes to live in their neighborhood. She is Pooja Iyengar. All three of them try a hand at impressing her, and only one succeeds, that being Raju. The only trouble is that while Raju is of Gujarati religion, Pooja is Madrasi from the Iyengar family, and her father, Shashtri, will not allow her to marry anyone outside his community and proceeds to get Pooja to get wedded to Prabhu, a young man from the same Iyengar community, with comical results.
