Paramatma is a 1978 Indian Bollywood film released on 1978. Tells of an honest man, who following the murder of his wife denounces wordly life and becomes a Mahant. He guards the temple holding limitless treasure in its vaults with his own life. His own son, who had turned a dacoit, wins over the confidence of his father and makes him reveal the secret of the vaults. He murders the Mahant only to realise that he had killed his own father.
