Paranthe Wali Gali is a 2014 Indian Bollywood romance, comedy film released on Jan 17, 2014. The film is directed by Sachin Gupta, produced by Sachin Gupta , music composed by Vasundhara Das.
The story shows how two people from both different backgrounds meet each other and they share their own world of dreams and aspirations. The story is about a struggling actor who is made over parathas. The story is also about Naina Kaur, a Sikh girl who is also in love with paranthas. One day, they meet each other in the same Parathe walli galli in old Delhi. These two meet coincidentally and they talk about sharing their own dreams and aspirations. The movie very purely narrates the day-to-day conversations. The movie also shows the romance between these two and their abilities to adjust themselves with different situations and circumstances. The film tells the story of a struggling theater artist, Maulik (Anuj Saxena), trying his best to make a name in the theater circles of Delhi. Parallelly, there is a love-story brewing, albeit, one-sided. Naina Kaur (Neha Pawar), the neighborhood girl, who makes and delivers delicious paranthas, is in love with Moulik and is supportive of him and his theatre group.
