Pita is a 2006 Indian Bengali drama film released on 2006. The film is directed by Swapan Ghosal, produced by Rajat Sikdar , music composed by Debjit.

A honest person Sibshankar Mukherjee (Aloknath) lived happily with his wife Archana (Laboni Sarkar) two Bijan ( Barat Kal) Sujan (Raja Chatterjee) and a adopted son Raju (Jishu) Sibshankar was a motor machanic .He earns money for his family but his son needed more money. Sujan loved a rich girl Gargi . Gargi's father Aditya Narayan Chowdhury (Dulal Lahiri) tried to capture Sujan and decided to fix his daughter's marriage with him. Sibshankar did not agree with that. Suddenly Sibshankar had an accident and one of his hands was paralised.Sujan left the house and stayed at Gargi's house .Bijan throws out Sibshanker from his house. Raju arranges for money and stays at a small house. Raju donates his kidney and bought a garage for Sibshankar. Sibshankar becomes a rich man. Bijan is arrested police .Sujan realised his fault and wants to came back home. But Sibshankar did not agree with that. Arcahana misunderstood Sibshankar .Sibshankar can not forgive his children. He was shocked and suffered a heart attack. Sibshankar died and every one realised their fault.
