Leela and Deepak are engaged to each other and are attracted to each other also. They eventually get wed. In order to make his career, Deepak goes to the big city to develop himself. Bitter news about accidental deaths in his family; get him back to the village. Upon his arrival, he is horrified to find that his beau is now the village goddess, Maa Choksha, appointed by the local cleric, Nimi Pandey, the Choudhary, and member of India's cardinal party, Bacha Babu. Deepak's tries to meet with Leela are in cocky. He does manage to get Leela to run away from the temple's proximity, and it is then he comes to know the dismay truth as to how Leela became the reincarnation of a Hindu religion Goddess. Leela is arrest back, and Deepak is helpless to meet with her, so he ends up seizure Nimi in order to secure the discharge of Leela. However, this bid backfires, and shoot to kill orders are issued to capture Deepak, who, now on the race from the law, comes to know that the entire government machinery is against him from finding out the truth behind this betrayal.
