RAJESH NARAYAN & KAMINI WERE IN LOVE & WERE SUPPOSED TO GET MARRIED. RAJESH'S BROTHER WAS A FREEDOM FIGHTER & LOST HIS LIFE DURING THE QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT. HE WAS SHOT DEAD BY THE BRITISH OFFICERS. THIS WAS A SHOCK FOR HIS FAMILY. RAJESH WANTED TO AVENGE HIS BROTHER'S DEATH. TAKING THIS DECISION RAJESH DECIDED TO JOIN THE FREEDOM FIGHT & SO HE DITCHED KAMINI TELLING HER THAT HE WAS NEVER IN LOVE WITH HER. A HEART BROKEN KAMINI TOLD HER FATHER THAT SHE WAS READY TO GET MARRIED TO THE BOY HER FATHER CHOSE. RAJESH ENTERED INTO THE FIGHT AGAINST THE BRITISH OFFICERS. A melodramatic love triangle, it tells of the live and loves of three persons-two friends professing various ideologies and the girl in their life. Forsaken by the revolutionary, she marries his friend, a police officer. The coming into their life of the revolutionary as a fugitive creates compications and misunderstandings. The revolutionary proves, at the cost of his life, his good intentions. - When powerful emotions confront and contend with each other, what is it that decides the supremacy of the one over the other? Hearts natural earnings or something still more fundamental-the human values? . Love and friendship are such abiding urges and youthful mind is called upon to meet human situations by a deliberate choice! .
