PUC 2008

PUC is a 2008 Indian Kannada romance film released on Oct 03, 2008. The film is directed by S R Brothers, produced by Sharanagowda B Patil. A tale with a meaning, the story begins with Bavish (Ramakrishna) who is the number one student in the college and he has this burning desire to make it to the top through hard work. Bavish is from a poor family and his education is everything for him to make a life. However, as fate would have it, his life changes when he sees Gowri (Harshika) in the college and she happens to be the daughter of a retired judge. Bavish is smitten by her and falls in love with her hopelessly, he starts getting diverted due to this but then just as any girl is, Gowri is more strong emotionally and she focuses only on her studies. At the end of the term, the expected happens. Bavish ends up with a second class while Gowri comes out with flying colors. She moves on in her life while Bavish is stuck and that's when truth hits him. He then gets his attention together and starts working real hard to excel. In no time, he becomes successful and then he gets a status in the society. However, when he is ready to prove his mettle, he chances upon Gowri who is by then married and is also blessed with a kid and a husband with whom she is not too happy.
