Ever from the early days of creation to this day, the new emerging morning Sun Ray has devoted its ever existant eternal confict with the Evil Dark. . New Horizons have been unfolded, divergent paths have always cropped up against this ommipotent dark world but whosoever has dared take arms against this outrageous darkness had to face the same reverberat- ing struggle. The path of the torchbearer of Truth has never been smooth. . "Pujarin" is the uncausy tale-telling tale complex of this eternal confilict-new concepts dashing against deep rooted old prejudices and superstitings fundamental births battling against centuries laden sins and immortalities, brutal force and lewd selfishness. . Ganga was such a truth seeking young maiden from a por family of Rampur a devotee of "Santoshi Mata". She loved the pious Shrikant an embodiment of truth and simplicity, an ideal school teacher. She was most dreaded by the village Kaplik whose earthly existance depended upon superstitions. Kalicharan was a recent victim of the Kapliks tuntras, who longed for a son through his blessings. He had kept his brother Ram to stupid submission by intimidating him by brutal froce in order to save his share in ancestral Property. . Ganga was horrified to perceive this unjustice and pledged to make a man out of Ram and to take him away from Kalicharans clutches. To achieve this end, she sacrificed her love for Shrikant and married Ram and thus became a constant headache for Kalicharan. Kapalik joined hands with Kalicharan and his wife Narbada to let loose a veign of terror against Ganga. But Ganga faced this terror bravely and managed to send her husband Ram to distant lands for earning livelihoos after educating him with the help of Shrikant.
