Raaton Ka Raja 1970

Raaton Ka Raja is a 1970 Indian Bollywood film released on 1970. Somewhere in the Chhappan Hills are situated the Head Quarters of a Gang of Anarchists. This Gang needs money and therefore decides to steal the famous statuette "Anarkali". Neena who has been recruited under threat of killing her father, is asked to get "Anarkali", a five thousand year old beauty. Any museum would pay billions for it. This archaeolgical treasure is the proud possession of Thakur Harnam Singh who holds it in trust for the country and for some-one near and dear. . It is impossible to steal "Anarkali" as it is well protected. There is only one man who can steal it and this is Raja, a famous internationa- lly "reputed" thief. To Raja, each theift comes as a challenge and he has stylised his work into a fine art. As an orphan, Raja had fallen into bad company and had acquired this expertise. However, the money he earns the bad way, he spends on spends on noble causes. He is offered very attractive price for stealing "Anarkali". . Rajas suspicions are aroused. Why should anybody want to steal "Anarkali", which is a national treasure? He wants to solve the mystery. . Raja steals "Anarkali" and returns it to the Thakur, whom he takes into confidence. Meanwhile, he asks his sculptor friend De Souza to make a fake duplicate and it is this duplicate which Raja gives to Neena. . Aneeta, the daughter of Thakur Harnam Singh discovers that such a daring theft can be committed only by Raja. She meets him. Raja discloses the truth to her telling her how the real "Anarkali" is with her father only. . Neena brings the fake "Anarkali" to Head Quarters. Genius, the boss, examines the statuette and finds that it is a fake. . The Gang then kidnaps Aneeta and Thakur Harnam Singh is served with a ransom note. The price for Aneetas life is "Anarkali". Thakur surrenders "Anarkali" to the Gang and in return he is thrown into a dark dungeon where Neenas father is already languishing.
