The story starts with declining to adhere their widower father, Harbans Singh, and get wedded to the girls of his choice, two deadbeat brothers, Manjeet and Parmeet, who rush away from home with Five Lakh Rupees. When their cash is stolen, they take to breach, are arrested, but discharged.
