Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Raj Mahal (2005)
The story revolves around a house named rajmahal, which is situated at Bakulpur village. Almost 150 years ago zamindar Rajnarayan Chowdhary used to stay here . Chandra Mukhi was a professional dancing girl and a songstress . Rajnarayan loved her . But Chandramukhi was having an affair with Basanta . One day Rajnarayan comes to know about their relationship and he kills Basanta. Chandramukhi dies in shock. But the angry and unsatisfied soul of Chandrmukhi tries to kill Rajnarayan, but she fails. Then Rajnarayan calls a witch doctor. This is the story of the past, as the story begins from the present we find that villagers still believe that the paltergeist of Chandramukhi still stays in that house. When Sumit comes to Bakulpur with his wife Debashree , everybody forbids them to stay in Rajmahal . Rajmahal is Sumit's ancestral property, he starts living there with his wife Debashree. Some unpleasant incidents takes place . Everybody is scared . Debashree unlocks the room where Chandramukhi and Rajnarayan used to stay . Horrid incidents occur. Sumit calls his friend Dr. Agni, a psychiatrist. He comes to Bakulpur from America . Agni analyses everything and finds out that Debashree is a psychiatrist patient . She is suffering from a mental disorders and there is nothing called ghost . Atlast Agni cures Debashree. Agni proposes to Malini.
