Raju Uncle 2005

Raju Uncle is a 2005 Indian Bengali comedy film released on 2005. The film is directed by Haranath Chakraborty, produced by Pijush Saha.

Raju is a young school teacher who takes care of orphan kids. He is very poor and struggles to make two ends meet but always cares for his children, he was a friend philosopher and guide in Ranjet Mullick who works in a detective agency called The Search. Ranjit regulary helps Raju with monetary payments. The house where Raju stays is mortageged to get money for the day to day expenses. The house-owner gives Raju an ultimatum. The mortgage amount is rupees two lakhs now. Raju goes to Ranjeet for a part-time job. Ranjit asks Raju to do some detective work. A girl called Neela is saved by Raju from a bunch of goons. Raju gives her shelter. Raju learns from Ranjit that Neela has escaped from her house. Raju asks Neela her real story. Neela says her father was the owner of a pharmacuiitical company. After his death Neela is the owner, but only on paper. She is actually a puppet in the hands of Ramen Roy, her uncle and his son, Dilip. So Raju decides not to divulge anything about her. The owner of Raju's house brings court order and throws the children and Raju out, but Ranjit brings high court stay order and saves the day, but only for two months. Neela decides to go back and get the money. Ramen Roy says he will give the money to Raju directly. When they come for the money, Ramen Roy talks about a fake deal with Raju and Ranjit about a prize money for who so ever finds Neela. Neela drives them away with a cheque of five lakh. Raju decides that he will send each of the children to adopters. Jamal, one kid is sent, but he returns. Neela subsequently learns that she had misconceptions about Raju. She goes back to Raju, but later on she is kidnapped by Dilip. When Dilip is about to marry Neela, Raju and Ranjit appear disguised as exorcists and then move out with Neela. But Ramen fits a time bomb in Raju's bus. After a breath taking journey Raju and Neela and the kids along with Keshta, their servant escapes the bomb-fitted car. But a fight ensues and Ramen is killed by Neelima, Neela's step-mother. Neelima knew that Raman had killed Neela's father and used Neelima to capture the family assets. Neelima surrenders to police. Raju and Neela and the kids lead a better life thereafter.
