Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Rakter Swad (1993)
David, son of Malson, is a medical student. He returns his village in leave. Here he hears some rumours concerning an old woman. Apparently she is sucking blood from human bodies as a witch. David meets with Rani, sister of D. S. P. Arunava Mitra hears the rumours and is anxious about so many murders. One day some villagers injure the old lady and police admits her in Mrs. Runu Neogi’s nursing home. One night the lady is killed and rumour spreads that her soul entered into Rani’s body. Now David is murdered and co-incidenty Rani was present there. Everybody suspects her. Lastly detective David who remains in disguise of a dead man discloses that Dr. Purandar Neogi, Runu’s husband, committed all the murders in order to sell blood out of a superstition and finally everything becomes clear.
