Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Rama O Rama (1988)
This story is about two brothers who are separated in childhood. One grows big to be Sandeep (played by Raj Babbar) and another Sonu or Vicky (played by Aasif Shaikh). Both the brother fall deeply in love with Hema (played by Kimi Katkar) who is the girl of a bus driver John D'Souza (played by Pran) who is a member of poor tribe. Raj Babbar is rich man and tries to get Kimi using his richness but she is in love with Vicky. Sandeep on seeing this uses his property and, he plans to buy off the D'Souza tribe, one after one, and then proposes wedding to Hema. Since the D'Souza family is not able to pay for any marriage expenses, Sandeep says yes to pay for all the 4 sisters. He even offers a work to John's son in the USA. Thus very much indebted to Sandeep, the family now wants Hema to marry Sandeep instead of Sonu. In the end both brothers find the fact and come together. Raj Babbar dies in the end. This story has a unique blend of togetherness of love.
