Rog is a 2005 Indian Bollywood thriller, drama film released on Jul 01, 2005. The film is directed by Himanshu Brahmabhatt, produced by Pooja Bhatt , music composed by M. M. Kreem.

Uday Singh Rathore (Irrfan Khan ) is regarded as a super cop by the public as well as the police force. But no-one knows that he is suffering from depression and has attempted suicide several times. He, along with his assistant Munna ( Munish Makhija), is given the case of Maya Solomon's murder. This high profile case involves many suspects such as Harsh ( Suhel Seth ), a writer and a journalist, Ali ( Himanshu Malik ) a casanova , Shyamali ( Shyamoli Verma ) her aunt, etc. Uday gets involved in the case completely and keeps Maya's belongings. He reads Maya's diary through which he comes to know more about the lady. Uday slowly falls in love with Maya. The rest of the movie pertains to how he unravels what really happened that night and tries to find the killer.
