Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Sabitri Satyaban (1952)
The movie is about Sabitri, a princess & Satyaban, a prince but from a different kingdom. Satyaban with his father used to stay in forest as they had lost their empire & throne. One day Sabitri & Satyaban met each other while following a same goose & with the blessings of the goose, they fell in love with each other. The father of the princess did not want them to get married, as he knew that Satyaban was about to die within a year. But they did get married and after one year while cutting a tree, the tree became alive & killed Satyaban. After Satyaban died, Sabitri met with ''yamraj'' & got blessed with two boons. The first one entitled her that her father would get back his empire & his eye sight . The second one, ensured her that she wouldl be blessed with hundred sons and finally ''yamraj'' gave Satyaban his life back, because of his beloved wife's love. And they lived happily ever after.
