Sadak is a 1991 Indian Bollywood action, social, musical, family d, drama, romance film released on Dec 20, 1991. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Mukesh Bhatt , music composed by Nadeem-Shravan.
This is the story how a man saves his lady love, who is a prostitute. He fights for all the social things coming his way. The story starts with Ravi. He is a distraught young man who works day and night by driving a taxi. He does this, because past is haunting him very terribly. He visits a brothel with his friend, Gotya. There he meets with a prostitute, Pooja and falls in love with her. But, things are not in favor of Ravi as he has to meet with strong opposition from the head of the brothel Maharani. She will not allow any other person to meet the prostitutes of her brothel and let them go because she has a business with whom she is earning all the luxurious.

The film starts portrayal of a eunuch Maharani by Sadashiv Amrapurkar who is an evil brothel madam which employs many girls including the characters of Pooja Bhatt and Neelima Azim. Sanjay Dutt's character who is a taxi driver meets Pooja before she gets bought by Maharani. His friend Deepak Tijori is in love with Neelima Azeem's character who is also under her employ. The story shows how Sanjay and Pooja come together after running from clutches of Maharani and trying to protect her from evil world
