Sangram is a 1965 Indian Bollywood costume film released on 1965. The film is directed by Babubhai Mistry, music composed by Lala Asar Sattar.
With the lust of power the wicked Minster Bhairav assacinates the King and tries to put an end to the lives of the Queen and her two infant boys. With the aid of a few loyal guards the Queen escapes from the palace but the tragedy of fate seperates her from her sons. . One of them grows to maturity amongst a Bhil tirbe in the jungle and ia named Vanraj for his physical power and kind heartedness, whilst the other son is adopted by the Queen of Shergadh as there is no heier to the throne, hence, he is trained in the royal schools and atmospher to grewo up as a prince charming-Udaykumar. . One day King Bhairav with his pretty daughter Rajkumari is in the sport of hunt in the jungle when his chariot is attacked by a fantas- tic beast the horses run astray in terror, the Rajkumari is overthrown from the uncontrollable chariot and just when the Rajkumari is about to be attacked by the beast the daring Vanraj comes to her rescue, after a battle to death Vanraj wins over the attacker at the other end the uncontrollable horses of King Bhairavs chariot are brought under under control by the power and courage of Prince Uday. The Rajkumari looses her heart to her hero Vanraj and King Bhariav decides to wed her to Prince Uday. . The two powerfull brothers duel over the pretty Rajkumari thundring the universe with their mighty clash to win the flame of love and just when a calamity is anticipated the Mother arrives on the scene and intervenes without even knowing that both are her own swperated sons.
