Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Sangram (1993)
Thakur Shamsher Singh Rana (Danny Denzongpa) and Thakur Surajbhan Singh Kanwar (Amrish Puri) have been enemies since 25 years as Thakur Shamsher Singh blames Surajbhan for the death of his sister. Raja (Ajay Devgan), son of Surajbhan, studies in college and has differences with a girl Madhu (karishma kapoor) who is none other than the daughter of Shamsher Singh. However, with time they become good friends and Madhu falls in love with Ajay. Both return to their homes in their vacation. When Shamsher Singh comes to know that Madhu loves Ajay, he gets angry and tells her to forget him as he is the son of his enemy but Madhu refuses. One night Surajbhan comes to Shamsher's house and requests him to end this never ending fight and become friends for the sake of their children to which Shamsher agrees. Raja goes for prey one day and tries to shoot a deer when a girl Pallavi (Ayesha Jhulka) comes in the way to prevent it. Raja gets impressed by her a lot and starts meeting her daily and eventually falls in love with her. On the day of his father's marriage aniversary, he announces his love for Pallavi to which all are astonished and Shamsher Singh warns Surajbhan that he won't see the repeat of what happened to his sister. Will Surajbhan agree to his son's interest or will he force him to marry Madhu? Will Shamsher Singh remain silent and let all this happen? What will Madhu do? All these questions are answered in the remaining part of the story.
