Akash, an honest forest ranger is killed by some goons. His wife and daughter lead a very hard life though they are helped by the new ranger Pramatesh Mitra.Anuuparna, Akash’s wife falls very sick one day and passes away. Her daughter Durga is brought up by her neighbour and Durga grows up and marries Sitaram and has a daughter. One day Rati Kanta,a corrupt Daroga comes to the Thana as the new Daroga.He eyes Durga and decides he must have her at any cost. He arrests Sitaram on false charges and gets the Ranger transferred. He pays Durga a visit at her residence at night and tells her that she should sleep with him if she wants her husband released. She agrees. Her child suddenly starts crying .The Daroga throws a pillow and the baby’s head is covered, as a result it dies due to suffocation. When Durga realizes the truth, she gets a chopper and hacks the Daroga to death. She then parades his dead body in the entire body by pulling it on a trolley.Sitaram who had been freed by Chotobabu returns to find that his wife has gone mad.
