Shakti is a 1982 Indian Bollywood action, crime, adventure, family, drama, thriller film released on Oct 01, 1982. The film is directed by Ramesh Sippy, produced by Ibrahim , music composed by R. D. Burman.
The story starts with DCP Ashwini Kumar Singh. He is a sincere police officer and he is faced with the trouble that his son named as Vijay Kumar was kidnapped by a gangster named as J.K.Verma. J.K tells Ashwini that if he releases his one of the subordinates, he would release his son. Ashwini doesn’t agree to this and as a result, Vijay escapes from the kidnappers and he is saved. Now, Vijay grows up and he finds out that his father didn’t agree to free him from the attackers of criminals. So, he leaves her place and starts living with his friend named as Roma. They both love each other and then get married to each other. He now works for K.D. Narang. K.D.Narang is the subordinator of J.K who helped Vijay to rescue from the attackers troop.
