He gave patients and thepeople in destress, the bits of ashes from perpetual fire that he kept up. . Devils, Diseases, infirmities and troubles of all sorts were removed. Medical Men and scientists may disbelieve this - what the most peculiar thing was, the drawing of deseas on to himself by pure will power. One fine day when there was no oil in his lamps in the mosque, Baba caused a flutter by keeping them burning all night with water alone evidently converting water into oil. One day Baba wanted fresh water to drink. Three persons went out and brought water. A muslim devotee first gave him water. Immediately Christian devotee questione Baba, whether he disliked Christian water. Baba tastouned and said that he knew only fresh water and dirty water but not Christian water and Hindu water. He soon pounded thsoe three tumblers of water into Jung and asked them to distinguish their own water from it. They became voiceless and realised the truth. . One day when a judge asked Baba as to what was his religion and caste, he answered that loving man as a man was his religion and his caste was divine caste and his age was lakhs of years. When the judge doubted his expression. Baba said that he did not Speak lie. . The most significant feature of Baba was his remarkable power to fore tell coming events or to force events or to force events to come to pass in accordance with is supre will. Visitors noted with surprise that he was frequently mentioing either expressly or by allusion their inmost secret thoughts, their remote past and the incidents that occured hundreds of miles away from him his residence which none could possibly have communicated to him. His power to carry out any thing that he wanted, was equal to hs beneficience and mercy that were was wide as they were deep, knowing no limitations or distinctions of caste, colour or creed. So the devotees praised Babas weird knowledge of prenantal history. . Baba was generally known as uneducated and unacquainted with the Hindu Sastras. On one day to the surprised of all, he began to give an exposition for "Bhagavad Geeta" to Nana Saheb. . One day Sai Baba promised to a devotee that he would leave his mortal coil and soul would join his body after three days and soon he performed similarly as Jesus Christ did before. Exactly after three days his soul joined his body to the astonishment of one and all. No wonder that even the proudest intelects bowed in submission before him for that act. . Baba left his mortal coil in October 1918. And even today though several years have rolled away, since Sai Babas body was placed in the tomb at Shirdi, the Aratis and processions continued and the eager throng of ladies and gentleman, Hindus and Muslims, rich and poor, scholars and rustics still serve at the Durbar of Sai Baba and declare that Bab is really alive and that they have indubitale personal experience of their own kindly interest and intervention in their daily life.
