Devoid of the minion of his heart, Raj was about to put an end to his tale of woe when Fate embodied in the from of a stranger, saved him from getting so reckless. A seeker of solace, away ran Raj from the crowded city - away to a remote village. . The village abounded in Nature, beauty and youth. There Raj abandoned himself to an abandoned abode, a little away from the habitaion. This seat of his solitude was visited by the debonair Shisham the village chieftains daughter to accord him the castomary hospotality. They met they kept on meeting; but never did they get conscious of the many fathoms deep they were fast immersing in love. . Laado, of all the other belles, found Raj the centre of her affections She confessed it to him but he spurned it. Hate took possession of her. . Chano, Shishams bosom friend and a keen-eyed girl, spotted the change in Laado and kept a strict surveillance on her movements. Thus Chano halped sprout the love planted in Raj and Shisham. . Crazy celebrations of the spring festival carved the long sought after opportunity for Laado. She betrayed Raj and Shishams love to Shishams mother. Shisham was ordered not to stir out of her house. . Laado, having settled Shisham thus, made the last desperate effort to win over Raj; but him she found much too adamant to submit to her love or hate. Notwithstanding his audacity she ahd him assaulted by her brother, Gola, and his associates. . Serously injured Raj was rushed to the neighbouring city hospital. There, he was restored to his mothe. But Raj was on tenderhooks to meet Shisham. In the dead of night he scaled the hospital walls. But!! hardly had he felt the road when he was knocked down by a speeding past car. . Shisham sat wondering about the plight of the apple of her eye. She was yearning to hear a word from him; instead she heard drums beating the death-knell of her love.
