Sooryavansham 1999

Sooryavansham is a 1999 Indian Bollywood drama, action, romance, musical, family film released on May 21, 1999. The film is directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana, produced by G. A. Sheshagiri Rao under banner named Padmalaya Combines.

For generations the Sooryavansham tribe has ruled the societies and it's people justly and fairly. This generation is owned by Thakur Bhanupratap Singh (played by Amitabh Bachchan). He has 3 boys, the youngest is Heera (also played by Amitabh) he assumes to be the black sheep, and most uneducated of the family, and he will not have nothing to do with him. He is engrossed when Heera proposes to marry his ward known as Gauri (played by Rachana Banerjee); and even more worried when Heera flip­flops, albeit at the confession of Gauri, and refuses to wed her. Heera is disdained by one and all in the family, involving Gauri. And then Radha (played by Soundarya) enters his living; she weds him; motivates him to live independently; and helps his business expand. Soon they are blessed with birth of a baby boy. Heera fulfills his father's wishes of a charitable hospital for the poor. Bhanupratap comes to know of his grandkid from Heera, and clashes him secretly. Then one day Bhanupratap is moved to hospital, apparently diseased by drinking kheer prepared by Heera, and Heera becomes the prime detective of what may well become the death of his father.
