Srimoti Bhayonkari is a 2001 Indian Bengali comedy film released on 2001. The film is directed by Anjan Banerjee, produced by Anjan Banerjee , music composed by Buddhadeb Ganguly.

It is a comedy film. It is a story of two sisters Dolon and Jhulan. Dolon is the elder sister. She is proudly indiscipline girl. On the other hand younger sister Jhulan is a decent, quite girl. She always got engaged with her studies and music. Then father naradhan halder is a trader of rich and is quite rich played by subhendu chatterjee. Proloy chatterjee is the leading hero of the film. He came back from abroad and settled in the city. He is also a quite rich man. He came to know about Dolon from one of his friend and get agreed to marry her. But he asked for 10 lakhs from her further to marry her daughter. Her sister jhulan was liked by three guys. They are kanak bhaduri, milan sen, deepak lahiri. But going through dramatic situation she agreed to love deepak lahiri. On the other hand dolon married to pralay chatterjee and go to proloy's house which is in hill station. There was one aunt of prolay who is radharani. After the dead of his mother this lady brought him up. Dolon and proposed to stay with this lady. Then after a few romantic and song scene dolan and proloy came back to her father house to attend jhulan's marriage with deepak. There on the question of mrinal, dolon told them in proloy's house how they came close to each after and give heart to each other. They had a female child who is so cute. The film ends then in a happy mode with all the dramatic.
