The eldest of three brothers is fond of women and wine. The next brother Jitendra married a woman without informing his elder brother. So his brother did not accept the marriage. The youngest brother Bhupendra had the intention to own the entire property of the palace. Jitendra in his old age entered into a second marriage with Shimantini. Shimantini after knowing his history accepted Saibal as her own son. But Bhupendra did not approve of this. So he made a plan to kill Jitendra and his elder brother. He sent Saibal to jail. But Satyendra, Bhupendra's son, a lawyer did not like his father's attitude and motives from the beginning. One day when Saibal was in jail, Bhupendra tried to kill Shimantini. The lawyer son then came to the forefront and restored all lost property to the deserved owners and punished the wrong-doers.
