Krishna Kumar and Gopika come to Bombay to earn a living. They are new at Bombay and are not acquainted with each other. Even so, they decide to share a room and strat living as husband and wife and are eventually married. It is later learnt that Krishna Kumar had been married and has a daughter named Shashi. Gopika takes it ill but whem Shashi arives she acceptes her. It comes to light later that Gopika too has a son.
