Taranisen Badh is a 1962 Indian Bengali mythology film released on 1962. The film is directed by Chitrasarathi, music composed by Anil Bagchi.

Tarnisen badh is adopted from the hindu mythological story, from the Ramayana. Taranisen (master tilak) is the son of Bibhisan. Bibhisan, was the brother of Ravana, the king of Lanka. Taranisen after meeting Sita in Lanka when Sita was a prisoner, felt deep ? for her and used to enlogise ? her as devi laxmi and her husband Ramchandra as lord Narayan. But in that situation of war between Rama & Ravana, Taranisen went to fight against Rama, fulfill his duty towards his kingdom. But he was unbeatable, until Bibhisan, his own father told Rama to use brahmastra at Taranisen. And after a frightening battle, Rama defeated Taranisen. Taranisen fought as a brave warrior and died ? she as one? also.
