Tawaif is a 1985 Indian Bollywood drama film released on Mar 22, 1985. The film is directed by B. R. Chopra, produced by R. C. Kumar , music composed by Ravi.
The film is based on the life of Dawood. There is a tawaif who enters his life and changes him completely. But, at the same time there is his lady love who is a poet or a writer and who is equally important for him. Tawaif then becomes his wife and gains everyone’s love and affection in good. But, Dawood cannot forget his first love so, he goes to met her and then Sultan Seth who also loves Tawaif accepts her and then things end on the very happy note. This movie also shows how a don has his own sentiments and his own morals to make the things happening. The story is good and in second half it is worth noticing.
