Teesri Gali 1958

Teesri Gali is a 1958 Indian Bollywood social film released on 1958. The film is directed by Kundan Kumar.
The circumstances in which Raja met his lady love Mala, had rather their own aspects. He had come to city in the hope of a bright future but met with failure. Insearch of his boyhood friend Bankey, he meets Mala--finding him a rather annoying personage she shows him the gate of Police Station. At last he finds his friend in Chanda Bais Chawl. Living the life of gentlemen who relived the richer citizens of their pocket burden. Mala & Raja are brought together and cupid shoots his shaft. . But it was not so easy -- Niranjan the citys Racket boss had Malas father Seeth Kapoor Chand fully in his black mailing palm. He also entertained the idea of adding Mala to his prize collections. . Lilly was a dancer in : one of Niranjans club: fate dragged Raja and Bankey for a job in the same joint. Lilly saw Raja and her heart was filled with music of love. Scared of the evil influence of Niranjan, Kapoor Chand cousented to the marriage of Raja & Mala. Niranjan was not so easily to be shaken. He manoured to kill Bijli - his coliage planted the murder on Raja, Kapor Chand was kidnapped - Raja absconded and at thsi time of Penil Lilly gave refuge to the idol of her heart. Knowing all risks she was taking. To see her lover in the clear - she staked every thing and fought tooth and nail to burst open the evil rap of Niranjan, Raja disguised as African Millionaire lured Niranjan into a deal of friendship. . Fate was cruel to Lilly and all of a sudden she realised she was knocking at the wrong door - where she was not wanted. She came to knwo the bondage of love between Raja & Mala. "Shall I destory him, who destroyed my dream of dreams or shall I sacrifice my dream to see my man happy". There was a stampade of love and hatred. . Niranjan gave a party in the honour of African millionaire and plotted to rub him out. Lily was aware, Mala was informed by a loyal friend of Raja but the poor goat walked into the trap unconcious of the fate waiting for him. Lilly was dancing-tense, watchful and active. She was pulsating and vivacious, "Shall I or Shall I not". The killer was moving slowly delibrately. Mala was dashing to reach in time. Killer had taken a position and was to move-when there came a spell of silence-- A lull before the storm comes. And every body heard the crash of the handelier and the roar of Gun.
