Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Thikana (1991)
Subir was a company executive, stayed in delhi. In calcutta he has father, two elder brothers sudhir and adhir and bhabis. Another member was manju. She was grown up in this house. She worked all the works of the family. When subir returned home, his brothers wanted to give him marriage with their own chose girl. But subir wanted to marry his boss’s daughter sudeshna. But his elder brother challenged him and said, if he had guts, he would marry a maid servant to show humanity. Subir married manju and sifted to a new flat. But subir could not adjust with the down to earth manju. In the mean time sudeshna again came back to his life and subir decided to divorce manju. But manju did not protest. This time her personality came out. She did not want any alimony. But sudeshna felt the mental condition of manju. She refused to marry subir. At that time subir become ill and wanted to see his ‘choto bou’. Manju came to him. Subir realised his fault. Alternately the story ended in a happy mood.
