Traffic Signal is a 2007 Indian Bollywood costume drama, drama, social film released on Feb 02, 2007. The film is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, produced by Shailendra Singh under banner named Percept Picture Co., music composed by Sandesh Shandilya.
The movie is based on ‘Silsila’ who is the "executive" of one traffic signal, that is he gathers the "hafta" (security duty) from each signal unlawful tenant working his trade. There's Tsunami, a small hunter lad, there's Rani - a Gujrati lass vending cultural garments on the path, and there's Dominic - a drug fanatic and the prostitute who senses for him. Then there's this Silsila himself, who's a stray, and hearsays to Jaffer bhai the indigenous thug. Jaffer bhai consecutively gives this unconfirmed report this to Haji, the chief of the local gang and takes hafta from collectively traffic signal and land Haji panels, leaks rising to the representatives. Life is dull, up until Silsila and Jaffer bhai get trapped up in a shackle of events which looms the very source of their source of revenue - the traffic signal itself, and Silsila must moreover continue to be speechless with terror or complaint.
