Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Trishanku (2011)
It is about Shekhar and his friends who stay as PGs in a house as they stay outside Kolkata and have to come to study here.Shekhar eyes the girl next door Tanu continuously and one day Tanu’s extra modern mother invites them over for tea so that they can get to know each other and become friends! Over a period of time they become close!Tanu’s mother’s ears are poisoned by her conservative neighbours.She puts her put down and asks Shekhar to only visit Tanu once a week to teach her. He is shocked and decides to remove himself completely from Tanu.Tanu who had heard stories of her grandfather sees the image of her grandfather in her mother and she decides to turn rebel. She catches hold of Shekhar, brings him to her house and tells her parents that she will continue to mix with him just like before. Her parents readily agree. Her grandfather seems to smile from the photograph!
