A few days another young man shows up at his door claiming that he is Kamla's son. A baffled Sardar also welcomes him, and puts both the young men under observation in order to find who the real Shankar is. However, the villanious Sohan (Pran) who covets Gopals property intercepts and copies the letter so that two young men recommended by hs wife turn up on Gopals doorstep. The old man desnt know which is his son and which imposter Sohans intrigues are itnercut the numerous musical interludes as Shankar woos Meena (Ameeta), Gopals adopted daughter. The final conflict between the good gusys and the bad gusys includes several hill tribesmen led by fight director Shetty.
