Ungli is a 2014 Indian Bollywood comedy film released on Nov 28, 2014. The film is directed by Rensil D'Silva, produced by Karan Johar under banner named Dharma Productions, music composed by Salim Merchant.
This is the story of four friends. They start a gang called Ungli gang whose main objective is to find corrupt people and teach them lessons. They then target a corrupt minister and they become a wanted gang by then. Then there is ACP Kale, who is a smart police officer. He hires Nikhil who is also a police officer but he was suspended. So he joins the Ungli gang and become their best friend. But one day, Kale calls him and asks him about his gang. He decides to tell him everything about this gang. This day, a shootout happens and some unknown person shot Kale’s leg. Then next day, the gang tells Nikhil how it started and the story is narrated in the flashback. Then Nikhil feels sorry about this and confesses them that he is associated with the police. Then he goes to Kale and tells him that he only shot him. He is also fired from that place. Then one day, Nikhil makes out a plan to trap a corrupt police officer who is working with Kale. So, they decide to sprinkle acid on it and it will leave a remark on them.
