This is the story of Ria who lives wealthy life with her family in Mumbai. Her father is Punjabi and her mother is Bengali. Ria is matured now and she loves Rishi Rampal. She likes him and wants to get married to him, but she suffers a heart break after getting to know that he is already married. Her parents look for a suitable groom for her in either Punjabi or Bengali. And after this, they get introduced to Rahul Malhotra who is actually a Punjabi. He is introduced by Gaurav Chatterjee, who is Rahul’s boss. Rahul hails from a broken family where his father had left him only for the sake of another woman. The marriage of Rahul and Ria takes place and both of them goes for the honeymoon. Then one day, Rahul goes to Europe for a business trip and after getting back to his place, he comes to know that Ria is pregnant. After this, Ria gives birth to a baby and they name her Niharika. Then after few days, Ria asks him for the divorce and his world all turns out. Then one day, he also comes to know that Niharika is not his daughter and then even things change or him too.
