Yash is a 1996 Indian Bollywood romance film released on Aug 30, 1996. The film is directed by Sharad Sharan, produced by Sushil Kumar Agarwal , music composed by Tabun Sutradhar.

Yash tells us the story of Yash, a boy whose mother left his father when he was very small. His father's ego is hurt and he wants to make it big in the music industry. So he sends Yash to boarding school where he stays for a good 14 years of his life. He develops very strong bonds with a lot of people there, especially a girl, Angel and another boy, Gopi. When he comes has after college, he comes to know that his mom is totally under the clutches of his grandfather, Kailashnath, who is intent on destroying his father, who has become quite a known figure in the music industry. But his dad wants to remarry and Yash decides to leave his father's house and make it big on his own. The film has good music and good performances too.
