Zameer is a 1997 Indian Bollywood drama film released on May 16, 1997. The film is directed by Rajat Rawail, produced by Ravi Vachani , music composed by Anand-Milind.

Maharaj Singh is a proud keeper of several derby­winning colt, and stays in a palatial farmhouse with his beau, Rukmini and young boy named Chimpoo. One day criminals attack his farmhouse with a view of stealing the colts, but Maharaj struggles with them, killing the boy of the leader of the dacoits named as Maan Singh. Maan Singh swears to revenge the death of his boy, and kidnaps Chimpoo. Years after, a slave of Maharaj named Ram Singh, brings a man named Badal into the Singhs lives and tells them that he is their missing his boy Chimpoo. Both Maharaj, his wife Rukmini, and their girl, Sunita, are charmed at having Chimpoo back in their lives. Then Badal and Sunita fall deeply in love with each other. It is then Badal tells to Maharaj that he is not Chimpoo, but a former doomed jailbird, who was asked to mimic him by an embittered Ram Singh. Maharaj does not want to hand over this information to an ailing Rukmini, and decides to keep it calm for the rest of their lives. But early or later Rukmini is bound to figure out ­ especiallywhen Badal and Sunita openly show their liking to each other and this will shock his intimate brother and a sister frees her or has destiny something else in store for her.
