Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Zindagi Zindagi (1972)
Asha Nagar is a small ideal village. Chaudhary Ramprasad ( Ashok Kumar ) is the Panchayat President & sarery generous hearted man.He has built a small hospital which is managed by Dr. Sunil ( Sunil Dutt ) .Dr. Sunil who treats every patient more with his words and affection then with medicine . One day a women named Meeta Sharma ( Waheeda Rehman ) comes to this hopital, for the treatment of her crippledson. When Dr. Sunil mmets his whole world turns upside down. She was ex-student of Sunil's hospital & they had loved each other. And now the whole situation has changed as she is a widow and very poor andwith her only son to care fordr. Sunil starts a treatment on Meeta's son. The romance between Sunil & Meeta is rekindled. Meanwhile election is proceeding in the village . The only disturbance is Ramprasad's son who is actually playing politics against all while Ramprasad is in hospital Sunil takes Meets's son ( Babu) to a city hospital, where he gets operated. The operation goes well but Babu has given away hopes that he can't walk again . Suil encourages him and makes him stand on his feet making impossible possible . Sunil and Meeta also reunite and start living their lives happy.
Docter Sunils finds old memories being revived when Meeta comes to his hospital to get her eight year old invalid son treated by him. With the fathers death Meeta is forced to marry another man-who dies leaving an invalid son behind. Doctor Sunil uses his own experience and the experience of experts to get her son cured.
