She is an Indian actor and a model who works in the Tamil film industry. She made her acting debut with the low budget horror flick Sivi (2007). She is known for her performances in the films such as Ninaithale Inikkum (2009) and Unnaipol Oruvan (2009). She is now working as a columnist for the popular entertainment website Behindwoods. She was born in a Tamil Brahmin family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She attended Rosary Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Santhome. She did her graduation in B.Com from Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi. She completed her Post graduation in Advertising and Public Relations in Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Delhi. She is the recipient of a PRSI (Public Relations Society of India) Award. She hosted the season 2 of Raj TV's Carnatic music reality-talent show called Tanishq Swarna Sangeetham.
