He was born on 3 November 1954 and he died on 16 December 2004. He is an Indian actor who did Marathi movies and Hindi movies too. He was earlier interested in acting. He then did dramas in many cultural activities in Ganesh festivals. He started her career with the Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh. He got his role in the play ‘Tour Tour’. He made his debut with the Marathi movie Lek Chalali Sasarla. He then did Marathi program ‘Gajara’. In his career, he gave many hits: Aamhi Doghe Raja Rani, Hamaal De Dhamaal, Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi, Balache Baap Brahmachari, Eka Peksha Ek, Bhootacha Bhau, Thartharat and Zapatlela catapulted Berde to super stardom. He also gave many superhits in Hindi movies like: Maine Pyar Kiya,Hum Aapke Hain Kaun..!, Mere Sapno Ki Rani, Aarzoo, Saajan, Beta, 100 Days. He married Priya Berde. He died due to a kidney ailment.
