Nana Patekar is a Actor and also worked as Singer, Screenplay, Story Writer, Director, Music Director. Nana Patekar has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, English.
He is one of the talented actors that both Hindi and Marathi cinemas have. He was born on 1st Jan 1951. He was born in Maharashtra as Vishwanath Patekar. He started doing theatres and later he did his first film opposite Smita Patil. Then, Nana did many movies like: Ankush and Salaam Bombay. These movies didn’t work well and later he did many more movies like: Sheela, Aaj ki awaz, Pratighaat, Andha Yudh etc. But, these films didn’t work well. Finally, in 1989, he did the movie ’Parinda’. He got appreciation by portraying the character of Anna. He also won appreciation for the film Angaar as a villain. He is the most creative actors in the bollywood. Along with the Hindi movies, his Marathi movies also worked well. He also did playback singing for many movies like: Wajood, Yeshwant, and Aanch.
