Sadhna Bose is a Actor. Sadhna Bose has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi.
She was born in Brahmo family and received education as was common with Brahmo girls of those days. She was born to Saral Chandra Sen and she was the second of his three daughters. She got married to Madhu Bose, film maker working in Bengal film industry. She joined the joined the Calcutta Art Players, a theatrical company owned by husband Modhu Bose. She joined the film industry with the movie; Alibaba (1937).This film was a hit at the box-office. Later, she created history with the immensely popular Kumkum (1940), made in two languages, Hindi and Bengali. She then did movies like: Shankar Parvati, Vishkanya, Paigham and others and firmly set herself as a heroine in her own right without the backing of husband Modhu Bose. She was also a passionate dancer. After she lost her husband, she had faced many financial crises. So, she started begging on the roads.
