Shiney Ahuja, originally named as Roshan Ahuja was born in New Delhi. His father is an Army commander. After completing his Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore, he wanted to join Army but gradually he was attracted to acting and joined an acting school in Delhi. He started his career as a model for Cadbury, Park Avenue; Raymond’s and finally became the face for Peter England. He was also seen in music video for the British Asian band Stereo nation. His debut film Sins directed by Vinod Pandey was a controversial movie and his second movie Kal was directed by Ruchi Narayan .Finally the movie Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi brought some success to his career and then Karam (2005) was also made him a familiar face in the industry and finally Mahesh bhatt’s Gangster made him a star. In 2007 the film A Life in a Metro and Bhool Bhulaiya also did well in the box office.
