She was born on 11 January 1977.She is the daughter of Paratp Sharma who is author and actor. She did her graduation from London School of Economics. After returning back, she received applauses for her commercial in Liril. She then entered bollywood with the film Om Jai Jagdish. The film didn’t work at the box office and later she did ‘The Bill’. Tara’s next project was Masti which worked well and she didn’t received appreciation for her role because of the well known star cast. Then her next film was Bardaasht. She received appreciation for her role in Page 3. Her role as Gayatri Sachdeva really helped her to gain success in her career.
