Usha Mangeshkar is a Singer and also worked as Producer, Music Director, Actor. Usha Mangeshkar has mostly worked in Hindi and has worked in languages like Hindi, Marathi, English.
She was born in 1935. She is an Indian singer who has recorded many Hindi, Marathi, Nepali and Gujarati songs. She was born to Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar and Shevanti (Shudhamati). She is the younger sister of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle and elder to her music-director brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar. She stole hearts of millions with devotional songs. She became famous with the songs in the film ‘Jai Santoshi Maa (1975)’, which was an all-time blockbuster. She was also nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer award for her song,’ Main to Aarti utaru re’ in that film. She was interested in painting.
